February 17 – March 17, 2012The relationship we have with our partners has the potential to be an ongoing source of growth and intimacy, a fulfilling partnership in which we travel through our life adventure as a team. But a relationship can also be a great source of frustration, disappointment and pain. Curiously, as we become busy with jobs, kids, household projects and personal interests, our primary relationship gets less and less attention. We may take our relationship and our partner for granted, more often noticing how he or she falls short of our expectations.
In Renewing Your Relationship, you'll have an opportunity to redirect energy towards your relationship each day for one month. The exercises range from writing your partner a thank you letter or poem to cooking a romantic dinner or arranging for a date. Each daily exercise gives you something to focus on, and as you go through the month you begin consciously directing attention, time and energy into building and renewing a meaningful relationship with your partner. This program is not about "expressing feelings of anger", nor is it about "getting the love you want." It is about becoming the best partner you can be.
The program provides:
- a calendar of daily exercises for every day of the month;
- selected readings;
- an audio CD;
- access to a program advisor; and
- inclusion in online discussion group (optional)
You may participate in this program with or without your partner (although you do need to be in a current relationship). Join us for a month-long effort to strengthen and enhance your bond with your partner. You may be surprised at the results.
